Award-winning package reduces cycle time and improves ROI

The USO needed to do a quick turn acquisition appeal, but their conventional lettershop process using high-speed inserters was unable to meet the tight cycle time for in-home delivery.

The USO turned to SG360° which produced the entire package utilizing an inline multi-web solution.

The mailing utilized two paper stocks and contained:

  • a personalized appeal letter with attached, perforated donation form
  • a personalized freemium of complimentary return address labels
  • a business reply envelope
  • a promotional buck slip
  • all inside an oversized, personalized 4-color outer envelope.

 

Printing (on both stocks) and all finishing including perfing/folding/cutting/kiss-cut stickers/inserting/sealing/addressing was completed in one pass through the press, coming off ready to mail.

This solution resulted in a cycle time savings of 3 weeks.

The USO saved $10/M over their lettershop production method and saw a response rate comparable to the control package, which resulted in an increase to their ROI. To date, this solution has earned 8 prestigious industry awards for package design and print quality.
